Sharjah 24: Dr Mohammed Khalfan Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Khorfakkan Mango Festival, stated that the second day of the festival witnessed a large turnout of visitors at Expo Khorfakkan.

A Notable Increase in Farmers and Varieties

He explained that the fourth edition of the festival stands out for the increased number of participating farmers compared to previous editions, with over 35 farmers taking part. He also noted that more than 200 mango varieties are on display, including one farm that alone showcases over 158 types.

International Participation and Strong Public Response

Al Naqbi told “Sharjah 24” that this year’s edition also features Arab and African participation, including entries from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Uganda, and Pakistan, along with several government and private institutions, as well as productive families. He added that the positive feedback from visitors encourages the team to work harder and deliver even better editions of the festival in the future.
