Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Salami, Director of SCI's Department in Dibba Al-Hisn, stated that the camp aims to provide screenings in general medicine, dentistry, gynecology, dermatology, and pediatrics, as well as early breast cancer screenings, targeting 500 community members. He also mentioned that the camp will feature an awareness lecture on first aid and its importance, alongside some recreational activities for children and a session to raise awareness about the dangers of unhealthy foods.
Al-Salami highlighted the importance of the camp in providing vital screenings, which will allow many individuals to check their health and use these screenings to detect injuries early and accelerate treatment, thus promoting health and reducing complications. He urged community members to attend and take advantage of the screenings provided by the camp. He noted that the association has a tradition of continuously organizing such camps to support the health efforts made by state institutions in providing healthcare to the public, especially to those who cannot afford these screenings, and to enhance the community role played by SCI in collaboration with other relevant institutions.
