The project saw the distribution of 3,330 sacrificial animals within the UAE, conducted through the association's headquarters in Sharjah and its branches in Al Bataeh, Al Madam, Al Dhaid, Kalba, Khor Fakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn. The meat was delivered directly to underprivileged families and eligible recipients listed by the association, following precise mechanisms to ensure that the meat reached those in need.
Outside the UAE, the association distributed 16,050 sacrificial animals in 45 countries in collaboration with the UAE embassies and consulates, as well as various agencies and field partners. This effort is part of its ongoing mission to provide humanitarian support to less fortunate communities and ensure timely delivery of aid to those who need it.
Mohammed Saleem Al-Manei, Director of the Assistance Department, stated that the sacrificial project was executed according to the wishes of benefactors regarding the number of animals distributed both domestically and internationally. This reflects the generosity of UAE benefactors, which extends to underprivileged families in various communities and countries. The sacrificial project is one of the most significant seasonal programs that the association prioritizes, given its direct humanitarian impact on achieving community solidarity.
Al- Manei noted that field teams and specialized committees worked around the clock to oversee inspection, slaughter, and distribution processes, ensuring the safety of the meat and compliance with religious and health standards.
Al- Manei praised the contributions of benefactors and their ongoing trust in the association, urging continued support for these charitable projects that reinforce the values of compassion and generosity, and contribute to strengthening community cohesion both within and outside the UAE.
