SP honours 141 participants in "Safe Districts" initiative

Sharjah 24: Brigadier Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations at Sharjah Police, commended the "Safe Districts" teams for their dedicated efforts in achieving the National Agenda goals and the strategic objectives of the Sharjah Police General Command to enhance security and safety.
This announcement was made during a ceremony held at the Sharjah Police General Command headquarters, organised by the General Department of Resources and Support Services. The event celebrated the work teams and the positive results achieved since the initiative's launch in July 2022, continuing through 2024. A total of 141 officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel from the participating teams were honoured in the presence of general managers, department directors, their deputies, and numerous Sharjah Police members.

Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services, Head of the Safe Districts Initiative Team, said in his speech to the attendees: "The Safe Districts Initiative embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in providing all the elements of security and safety for everyone residing in the Emirate of Sharjah, and reducing the negative phenomena that may worry the residents of its districts."

He emphasised that the Sharjah Police's approach focuses on fostering trust and partnership between law enforcement and the community, significantly enhancing residents' sense of security in the districts. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the efforts made and urged everyone to continue working towards further security achievements that promote stability within the community.

The honourees expressed their gratitude for this recognition, viewing it as a motivation to further enhance police work and improve the quality of life in the community.
