Sharjah24: The Central Region Parents Council (CRPC) marked the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic year with a notable event at Al Dhaid Cultural Centre. The council, in collaboration with the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD), hosted an event highlighting the significance of education and the goal of promoting a successful year of learning.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Moadhed bin Huwaiden was among the attendees at the event, which also saw the presence of His Excellency Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of Central Region Parents Council (CRPC), and Manaa Al Darmaki, Director of the Parents Councils Department. The gathering included several notable figures, such as municipal council heads, school principals, teachers, and leaders from the local community.
A ceremony was held to honour educational achievements and inspire both students and educators for a successful academic year ahead.
During the event, His Excellency Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan addressed attendees with a welcoming speech, highlighting the crucial contribution of families and parents in fostering students' academic achievements. Dr. Salem Zayed Alteneiji, a professor at the Higher Colleges of Technology, delivered an inspiring address underscoring the significance of dedication to education.
The event included a creative performance by female students from the Central Region, featuring the presentation of the Central Region Educational Award to outstanding teachers, parents, and students from schools in Al Bataeh, Al Dhaid, Mleiha, and Al Madam.
Event organisers and prominent contributors, such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Moadhed bin Huwaiden and Manaa Al Darmaki, received acknowledgement for their efforts in promoting education within the region.
