Sharjah Red Crescent Medical Centre honours Sudanese Community

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The Sharjah Red Crescent Medical Centre, alongside its Volunteers Department, held a celebratory event for the Sudanese community in the UAE, reflecting the UAE's commitment to humanitarian efforts.
The Sharjah Red Crescent Medical Center hosted a celebration for the Sudanese community in the UAE, attended by Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Authority's Local Affairs Sector, Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Junaibi, Director of the Red Crescent Centre in Sharjah, along with administrative and medical staff, and Sudanese community representative Awad.

During the event, Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi delivered a welcoming speech and highlighted the Red Crescent's efforts in providing essential assistance and services. He also toured the centre’s departments, including medical clinics, the laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy.

The event featured medical examinations for attendees and children’s competitions in conjunction with the school year’s start. Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Junaibi emphasised the centre's comprehensive support for the Sudanese community, noting the ease of accessing medical services and expressing gratitude for the leadership’s support and the generosity of benefactors.

Dr. Al Junaibi highlighted that the Red Crescent Medical Centre is unique in the country for offering free medical services, with 18 specialties and field visits to families in need. He reiterated the centre’s commitment to meeting the community’s needs and providing ongoing support.

Musa Mohammed, speaking on behalf of the Sudanese community, expressed appreciation for the UAE government's and people’s continuous support, and for the Red Crescent’s dedicated efforts in assisting the community.
