Al Darmaki appointed AFDE's Deputy Secretary-General

Sharjah 24: The Arab Federation for Digital Economy (AFDE), a member of the Arab League's Executive Office of the Forum of Specialised Arab Federations, has appointed Dr Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Darmaki as its Deputy Secretary-General. He will monitor and manage the implementation of projects funded by the "Arab Vision" to help Arab countries' digital transformation plans.
In a statement, the Federation highlighted that Dr Abdullah Al-Darmaki is an academic researcher in the science of institutional excellence as well as a prominent specialist in management and government development.

He previously served on the Emirate of Sharjah's Advisory Council and chaired the committee in charge of preparing the recommendations project, which was a critical component of the council's work to realize His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah's vision for the emirate's development.

The Federation underlined that Dr Al-Darmaki's skills will help to achieve Arab Vision projects, particularly in the fields of digital transformation, e-commerce, and logistics services in the Arab region and African countries.
