The meeting, which took place at Al-Hawami District Council headquarters on Friday , aimed to familiarize participants with the ongoing projects and strengthen cooperation between the council and the Roads and Transport Authority in the region.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Khalid Ahmad Bohendi, Chairman of the Al-Hawami District Council, in the presence of council members Suleiman Rashid Al Naqbi, Abdul Rahman Ali Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Ali Hassan Al Bloushi, and Mohammed Ibrahim Saad Al Naqbi, along with council staff and representatives from the Roads and Transport Authority.
During the meeting, completed and ongoing projects overseen by the Roads and Transport Authority in Khorfakkan were reviewed, and ideas and proposals were exchanged on ways to enhance cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals in the region.
In a statement, His Excellency Khalid Ahmad Bohendi emphasized the importance of this meeting as part of their commitment to enhancing ongoing cooperation and coordination with the Roads and Transport Authority, as well as meeting the requirements of the area and its residents to provide the best services. He noted that this cooperation reflects their commitment to improving infrastructure and addressing the needs of the local community.
Bohendi added: "We discussed during the meeting a range of ideas and proposals aimed at improving and developing the road network in the area, and we explored ways to strengthen cooperation between the council and the Roads and Transport Authority to ensure the achievement of common goals.
