Sharjah24: Sharjah Handball Club is preparing to compete in the upcoming 27th Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship, set to be held in Qatar from November 13 to 24. The tournament, held at Al Rayyan Club, saw Sharjah being placed in Group A, alongside Al Rayyan (Qatar), Kuwait SC (Kuwait), Al Shabab (Bahrain), and Al Karkh (Iraq). Group B consists of Al Khaleej from Saudi Arabia, Ahli Sidab from Oman, Al Duhail from Qatar, Kazma from Kuwait, and Mes Kerman from Iran.
The championship, held in the Qatari capital Doha, is a crucial qualifying event for the IHF Super Globe - World Club Championship scheduled to take place in Egypt in 2025. The tournament showcases a total of 10 clubs, which have been evenly split into two groups. Teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top four teams from each group moving on to the quarterfinals.

Sharjah has achieved remarkable success in the competition, making it to the semifinals on three occasions out of four appearances.

In 2019, the club achieved the impressive feat of securing bronze medals not once, but twice, in Kuwait and South Korea. Additionally, they showcased their skills by finishing in fourth place in India in 2018. In the latest edition held by Kuwait's Qadsia SC, Sharjah faced elimination in the group stage.

They finished third with 9 points, tying with group leaders Al Arabi (Qatar) and second-place Qadsia. However, Sharjah's lower goal difference resulted in their lower ranking.
