Sharjah was crowned with bronze and third place, for the first time in the history of the club, as it is the best position for the team during 7 participations of the King in the GCC Handball Clubs Cup Championship, which it previously hosted the 29th Gulf Handball Cup in 2009.
Sharjah player Ahmed Abdullah also won the best player award in the Sharjah – Al Arabi match.
With this result, Sharjah adds the Gulf bronze medal to its record of foreign achievements, as it previously won the UAE-Bahraini Super Cup 2019, and won two bronze medals in a row in the Asian Champion Club Tournament in the same year.
