UAE volleyball team sweeps Qatar to reach West Asia Semi-Finals

Sharjah 24: The UAE youth volleyball team has advanced to the semi-finals of the Second West Asia Youth Volleyball Championship, currently underway in Al Ain, after a decisive 3-0 victory against Qatar in the quarter-finals.

In today's match at Al Ain Club Hall, the UAE team dominated, winning the three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-21. With this victory, the UAE will face Bahrain in the semi-finals on Friday, after Bahrain secured a 3-0 win over Jordan in their quarter-final match.

In other quarter-final matches, Saudi Arabia defeated Syria 3-0 and will meet Lebanon, who won against Kuwait 3-1. Jordan will face Qatar, and Kuwait will play Syria in matches to determine positions from fifth to eighth place.
