The visit aimed to combine sports with educational learning, giving participants the opportunity to explore the festival's various sections and learn about the wide variety of rotab (fresh dates), the region's rich agricultural diversity, and palm tree-based handicrafts and products. They also visited the participating pavilions showcasing heritage and agricultural activities that reflect the palm tree's historical and cultural significance in the UAE's national identity.
The visit enriched the summer programme by introducing participants to an interactive learning environment beyond traditional sports activities. It enabled them to deepen their understanding of local agriculture, the importance of sustainability, and national events that celebrate the UAE's heritage.
