Organised by the Arab Chess Federation in cooperation with the Egyptian Chess Federation, this major event features 400 players representing 18 countries.

The club's delegation is led by board member Iman Mohammed and includes players Anoud Issa, Ahoud Issa, Hafsa Issa, Reem Issa Elias, Badriya Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Noor Rashid Al Ghafri, and Mariam Khalid Al Nuaimi.

Fostering talent and international experience

This participation aligns with the club's strategy to enhance the players' technical and mental skills through international competition, building on their impressive podium finishes in local tournaments this season.

Najla Al Shamsi, Chairperson of the Club's Board of Directors, emphasised that the tournament is a crucial step in the players' development, allowing them to test their progress against top Arab talent across various age groups.

Strategic vision and goals for Emirati chess

Al Shamsi expressed confidence in the squad, stating that the goal extends beyond participation to building a generation capable of reaching podiums and representing the UAE with distinction globally.

She reaffirmed that the club will continue implementing its strategy of discovering, nurturing, and training young talents to achieve new milestones for the club and Emirati chess, wishing the delegation success in Cairo.
