Dr. Abdullah Al Belushi, Director of Khorfakkan Hospital, emphasized how important it is for the hospital and all facilities of the EHS to provide top-quality healthcare to everyone, especially children and mothers. He mentioned that the hospital is dedicated to offering excellent services to improve the health and well-being of mothers and children, creating a comfortable environment for them. The hospital met important goals for promoting breastfeeding, such as training staff to help with breastfeeding, educating mothers about the benefits of breastfeeding, providing care right after birth, and encouraging mothers to have skin-to-skin contact with their newborns, which helps with bonding.
