During the second quarter, Eng. Khalifa Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Director of the Central Region Department, outlined that the Authority's lighting projects in the Central Region have significantly enhanced service delivery.
He mentioned that the Authority is currently carrying out development and expansion projects related to networks and distribution stations in the central region's cities. This is being done to keep up with the significant development in the area and to achieve its development plan. The Authority is working in collaboration with all government agencies to ensure that projects are completed with high quality, efficiency, and within the shortest possible time.
He emphasized that the street and road lighting projects in the central region are ongoing according to a planned schedule and high standards. This continuous work ensures that the area is well-lit, meeting the latest technological standards and enhancing the infrastructure to cater to the population's needs and develop the facilities. This ongoing nature of the projects keeps stakeholders informed and involved in the process.
He emphasized that the lighting projects were executed to the highest standards, with connections to the network established. Poles of varying lengths, ranging from 6 to 14 meters, were installed based on specific locations and areas. Additionally, high-quality spotlights and lamps were also installed.
