Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Public Works Department's Building Projects Management Department (SPWD) has launched a new project, "Your Consultation on Us," with the goal of providing engineering support and consultations to department personnel.
This programme aims to encourage sustainable development by providing creative and effective technical solutions, particularly for workers planning to build their future houses.

The "Your Consultation on Us" programme seeks to provide technical and engineering support for small and medium-sized projects, as well as assistance to workers in need of engineering design, construction, and supervision in both civil and service sectors such as IT, air conditioning, and electricity.

It also aims to raise community awareness of engineering's importance and role in improving quality of life, to support innovative engineering ideas and projects that address environmental and social issues, and to foster communication between professional engineers and employees, allowing for the exchange of knowledge and experience.

According to Eng. Alia Al Rand, Director of the Building Projects Management Department, the initiative includes individual consultations, which allow employees to receive direct engineering advice from the department's experts in a variety of fields, whether they are planning to build their own homes or are currently under construction.

She also stated that the "Your Consultation on Us" programme is an important step towards strengthening the department's community role and contributing to a future vision based on innovation and community participation. Through this programme, the department intends to have a good and long-term influence on the community by assisting individuals in realising their engineering objectives and guaranteeing appropriate construction project planning.
