Sharjah 24: With high morale and great enthusiasm, the sailing and rowing team from the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club departed for Morocco. They will represent the UAE and Sharjah in the 16th Rabat International Maritime Festival and the 20th edition of the Strait of Gibraltar International Maritime Week.
The delegation included Humaid Al Kindi, Board Member, and Ahmed Al Hosani, General Manager, along with administrative and technical staff, 4 Optimist sailing players, and 9 rowing and kayaking players.
Al Hosani, General Manager of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, expressed strong confidence in the team’s potential to achieve positive results and represent the UAE and Sharjah admirably. He emphasised that this participation is not just about being present but serves as a unique opportunity to compete and interact with top-tier competitors, particularly since there are 9 countries from Europe and Africa renowned for their sailing and rowing prowess on the banks of the Pacific Ocean.
