Sharjah24: At the 19th International Open Sea Week in Mediek, Morocco, the Sharjah Modern Sailing Team, which represented the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, took home bronze in the junior "Optimist" category.
This was their first time competing on an international stage, and they certainly made an impression.
The delegation's leader, Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, was overjoyed and appreciative of the generous hospitality they had received.
He also lauded the achievements of the UAE Modern Sailing Team and the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, respectively, for winning gold and bronze medals.
