The camp lasted several days and featured intensive training programmes, ranging from fitness sessions to boost physical endurance, to technical drills aimed at enhancing both individual and collective skills, alongside exercises designed to increase cohesion among the players on the court. The coaching staff also held tactical meetings with the players to review game plans and assess training performances, which strengthened the players’ strategic awareness and their ability to read the flow of matches.
Team officials confirmed that the first stage of preparations had achieved its objectives, both in terms of improving physical readiness and boosting morale. They noted that the high level of discipline and positive engagement during the camp reflected the team’s determination to enter the season with confidence and ambition.
The second training camp is scheduled to begin next week under the guidance of coach Habib Heba, marking a move into a more advanced stage of preparation. This will focus on developing tactical strategies and conducting friendly matches to test readiness and refine performance before official competitions commence.
The club hopes these intensive preparations will lead to a strong season that places the team among the top contenders and reinforces its presence in UAE handball tournaments.
