Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Islamic Forum's (SIF) 24th Scholarly Course, titled "And they recommend each other to be merciful," started at Sharjah's Al-Maghfirah Mosque.
From June 29th to July 11th, the course will feature a range of events and activities, including cultural and religious presentations. The first and second weeks will cover eight different themes.
The course's goal was to be both educational and cultural, according to Dr Majid Abdullah Bushalibi, Secretary General of the Sharjah Islamic Forum.
Eminent scholars, sheikhs, and academics from around the Arab world lead the platform, which is a well-known intellectual endeavor that adapts to the times. It is an essential resource for helping individuals learn from credible sources in an open and fair manner.
Mr Mohamed Nour Al-Anis, Head of the Studies and Publishing Department, emphasised the relevance of this session, using the verse "And they advised each other to be merciful." It seeks to improve compassion and harmony among community members by combining a theoretical and practical approach based on several Sharia studies.
According to Al-Anis, the accompanying book for the course, which serves as an excellent reference, is a valuable resource for registrants because it contains scientific knowledge and assists in their learning and awareness. He went on to remark that this book will be a valuable addition to community and public libraries across the Emirate of Sharjah.
