Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), through its Customer Service Department, held its annual Strategic Partners Forum, welcoming a large number of real estate developers, companies, owners, and subscribers.
The forum aimed to showcase the latest digital services offered by the Authority and to gather feedback and suggestions from participants to help shape future development plans, ensuring service improvements align with the Authority's strategy and objectives. This initiative fosters effective communication and coordination between the Authority and its strategic partners.

Dr. Hussein Al Askar, Director of the Subscriber Service Department, emphasised during his speech that the forum aims to achieve a shared vision that addresses challenges and enhances services to meet the needs of real estate developers, companies, owners, and subscribers. This effort supports the ongoing development and prosperity of Sharjah under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

He expressed gratitude to Saeed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Authority, and Abdullah Al Shamsi, Director General of the Authority, for their continuous support and guidance in fostering sustainable partnerships. He also thanked the participants and the forum’s team for their contributions.

The forum featured a presentation on the Authority’s recent digital services, including a platform for registering real estate developers and offices managing investor properties in Sharjah. This platform allows owners to view account information, track receivables, and manage documentation. It also permits the authorisation and revocation of real estate offices or developers to manage accounts. A new service was introduced to facilitate the transfer of a subscriber's account and insurance when moving properties, which can be requested through a link provided after municipal clearance, the website, or the smart application. Additionally, the virtual assistant service, Naffa'a, was highlighted.

Rashid Al Marzouqi, Director of the Corporate Communications Department, presented initiatives for energy and water consumption rationalisation, providing guidelines and best practices for participants. The forum also included discussion panels to address challenges and share ideas.
