Sharjah 24: After the 2024–2025 season, Sharjah Sports Club's men's handball team will be coached by Mohamed Samir Kishk of Egypt, succeeding Sami Al Saidi of Tunisia.
The club's group games management selected international player Mohamed Kishk. Kishk won two President's Cups and two Union Cups during his time playing for Sharjah from 2006 to 2010.
Kishk has a fruitful playing career, winning many titles with the Egyptian national handball team and other elite teams in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
Kishk served as a coach for clubs in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia before Sharjah's administration entrusted him with their handball squad. The team has consistently won local titles over the past eight seasons.
Among the five trophies won by the Sharjah men's handball team this season were the General League, Union Cup, Super Cup, Emirates Cup, and the Emirati-Bahraini Super Cup.
