The fourth session of the third cycle of the Arab Children's Parliament represents a significant opportunity for children from all Arab countries to meet and communicate in a supportive and encouraging environment for constructive dialogue. Since its establishment in 2019, this unique forum has allowed children to express their opinions and share their ideas on various issues that concern them through interactive discussions and sessions aimed at enhancing their awareness and understanding of their role in building the future of their societies.
The fourth session of the third cycle of the Arab Children's Parliament is expected to witness broad attendance from children and representatives of Arab countries, reflecting the great interest in this vital platform. By convening in the upcoming session, the Parliament aims to promote understanding and cooperation among Arab children, fostering an informed and engaged generation capable of contributing to building a better future for their communities.
Ayman Othman Al Barout, the Secretary-General of the Arab Children's Parliament, emphasized the importance of holding the fourth session, noting that it comes at a crucial time to enhance the role of children in social participation and expressing their opinions. Al Barout said, "The Arab Children's Parliament provides a unique opportunity for children from the Arab world to meet in Sharjah, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions on their issues. Therefore, the General Secretariat of the Parliament seeks, through this session, to enable children to actively participate in decision-making and develop their leadership abilities."
Al Barout also highlighted that preparations are underway for the fourth session with intensive efforts to ensure a distinguished event, including accompanying programs aimed at supporting and developing the skills of participating children. Workshops and training sessions will be organized to enhance children's understanding of social, environmental, educational, and health issues. Additionally, recreational and educational programs will be implemented to enhance their experience in the parliament.
Al Barout explained that convening the fourth session is a continuation of the principles on which the Arab Children's Parliament was founded, which include promoting children's participation with each other and providing a supportive environment for the exchange of ideas and experiences among them. The Arab Children's Parliament is part of a broader vision to develop children's abilities and enhance their role as active participants in their societies, in line with the orientations of the Arab League and its support for this initiative.
