Sharjah24: Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) has concluded the third stage of the training program "Payroll Accountant Preparation." The program aims to enhance the efficiency of employees working in the field of accounting and payroll in Sharjah government entities, departments, and institutions.
The programme focuses on developing their skills in preparing and auditing payroll sheets and monthly contributions, as well as enabling them to generate accurate financial reports that enhance data analysis for decision-makers.
The third workshop of the program, held at the Sharjah Quran Academy, addressed the continuous updates to the executive regulations of human resources in Sharjah, as well as the changes that occur in government salaries and calculation methods. The workshop contributes to the widespread implementation of the electronic payroll system across all Sharjah government entities, departments, and institutions.
The workshop covered six main topics, including calculating appointments based on regulations, types of incentives, benefits, and promotions, methods of calculating the basic salary for all systems, types of deductions (penalties and their calculation), leaves and return notifications, and insurance calculations.
The program was conducted in three stages, starting in February 2024 and continuing until the current month to enhance the implementation of the executive regulations of human resources in the Emirate of Sharjah, particularly regarding salary changes, unifying the calculation mechanism for government employees' salaries, and preparing and training new accountants to use the electronic system for payroll tasks.
