Sharjah24: In honour of the late founder and in demonstration of the Endowments Department's commitment to fostering the values of philanthropy and compassion within society, the Department collaborated with the Sharjah Volunteer Center to organize a public volunteer opportunity in commemoration of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day. The day, which occurs on the 19th day of Ramadan each year, marks the anniversary of the passing of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Through this initiative, the Department sought to pay tribute to the leader's legacy, promote his philosophy of giving, and inspire others to follow in his footsteps.

The event was met with enthusiastic participation from all segments of society, reflecting a high level of awareness about the importance of volunteer work and a deep commitment to advancing the principles of humanity, tolerance, and compassion embodied by Sheikh Zayed.
