Sharjah24: Department of Awqaf announced the start of its new program, "Pioneers' Impact," which targets entrepreneurs, as part of its persistent efforts to build new projects and initiatives that strengthen social links and promote sustainable development principles.

The initiative aims to encourage entrepreneurs and investors to contribute to endowments by allocating a portion of their profits and returns to endowment projects. This contributes to providing a solid foundation for building a cohesive society that supports the promotion of positive citizenship values through interaction and community participation.

The Director-General of the Department of Awqaf, Talib Al Mari, stated: "The launch of this initiative is in line with our strategy, through which we aim to enhance community cooperation, encourage the active participation of entrepreneurs, and highlight their important role and position in creating positive change and contributing to improving the social life of various groups and segments in society."

He added: "This initiative is a pioneering step towards expanding endowments and building strong partnerships with various entities and sectors to achieve our goals of providing sustainable and stable endowment funding sources and investing them optimally to support the targeted groups. This will contribute to creating a stable, prosperous, and giving society.
