SDTPS launches "Supporting Small Entrepreneurs" initiative

Sharjah 24: Emanating from its social responsibility and enhancing its role in supporting the tributaries of commercial activity in the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey (SDTPS), represented by the Support Services Department - Financial Affairs Section, organised an initiative to host the “Supporting Small Entrepreneurs” exhibition, in cooperation with the Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects “RUWAD”, which included, in its first phase, hosting 3 entrepreneurs over two days at the department’s headquarters.

During the exhibition, Amani Al Mahyan, Assistant Director of Financial Affairs at the SDTPS, indicated that the initiative comes in response to the directives of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah to support entrepreneurs, as well as enhancing the efforts of RUWAD, in empowering project owners and opening new outlets to showcase their products and services for all members of society, especially employees of government agencies and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
