Sharjah24: Dr. Sulaiman Abdallah Bin Sarhan Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Affairs Department, stated that the 7th Sharjah Municipal Forum began on Wednesday at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park with the theme "Sharjah Thrives with Sustainability." The forum focuses on Sharjah's municipal councils and departments.
He told "Sharjah24" that the forum's mission is to promote the talents, skills, ideas, and innovations of the emirate's municipal councils in order to establish a competitive environment among administrations and councils. It also seeks to generalise and apply successful experiences in the workplace.
Dr. Al-Zaabi stated that Sharjah municipal councils consistently strive to emphasise sustainability through this forum in order to carry out the directions of His Highness, the Ruler of the Emirate, who is always concerned with sustainability, growing green spaces, and focusing on buildings.
