Sharjah 24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) called on donors to support its Ramadan project, Ramadan “Food Basket,” a tributary of giving and social solidarity to enable needy families to welcome the holy month of Ramadan. SCI has provided Ramadan supplies that suffice their needs throughout the holy month.
Muhammad Salim Al Manai, Director of the Aid Department, confirmed that SCI is keen to implement the Ramadan “Food Basket” on an ongoing basis for needy families, and is counting on the benefactors support and donations to reach more people by distributing 3,500 food baskets.

Al Manai added that SCI has large numbers of needy families and seeks to increase the allocations that support needy families and focus on supporting those closest to us by benefiting from community participation and existing cooperation channels with a number of cooperating parties.

Al Manai pointed out that the Ramadan “Food Basket” is one of the main projects in the Ramadan campaign, as SCI is interested in supporting needy families before the advent of the holy month, through this package of materials. It is a community initiative that encourages all individuals and institutions to be generous and reflects the extent of interconnectedness between all segments of society, where the rich give to the needy. SCI represents the link in implementing this process between donors and beneficiaries in an organised manner and according to followed mechanisms and a sound approach that focuses on delivering aid to those who deserve it.

The Director of SCI Aid Department pointed out that contribution and donation channels are available to everyone for full participation or partial contributions, through the smart link that allows Donation via Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, SMS, and bank transfers, in addition to calling the toll-free number 80014 to request a representative to receive donations, or visiting SCI headquarters or one of its branches.
