Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International distributed approximately 10.1 million meals as part of the Iftar for the fasting project during Ramadan campaigns from 2013 to 2023. These meals were provided at Iftar locations within and outside the country, comprising around 8 million meals for the Iftar project within the country and 2.1 million meals distributed in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country's embassies in beneficiary countries.
Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the Sharjah Charity International highlighted the significance of the Iftar meals project as a key initiative of the Ramadan campaign. Islamic Sharia encourages feeding the needy by offering Iftar to fasting individuals. This underscores the noble call for cooperation in supplying meals during the holy month of Ramadan to support the poor and those with limited income.

He emphasised the association's enhanced capabilities for sustained giving and expansion in charitable projects. The association has positioned itself at the forefront of charitable organisations implementing food distribution projects among individuals in countries covered by its international initiatives.

Bin Khadem expressed deep appreciation to generous donors for their unwavering support, contributing to the success of these projects. He also extended sincere thanks to the country's embassies in the covered nations for their significant support and cooperation, playing a crucial role in the success of the association's initiatives and projects.
