SCI strengthens its efforts to support those affected by rain

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) strengthened its efforts to support those affected by the rains in Kalba.
This comes in cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command, the Civil Defense in Sharjah, the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, the Sharjah Social Services Department and the Housing Department, and the SCI’s work teams continued their efforts by providing urgent aid that supports the stability of those affected.

Nasser Masoud Bilal, director of the SCI’s administration in Kalba, stated that SCI provided more than 8,700 meals as part of its goals to provide the basic needs of those affected at their residence in the emergency housing sites in various areas.

He added that the support provided included the children’s basic needs of food and health supplies, and the efforts of the SCI’s teams continued to distribute more than 400 bags including heavy blankets and winter clothes to those affected.

He stressed that the SCI’s plan of action continues with the aim of providing various means of support according to the needs of each family, in light of carrying out societal responsibility to serve members of society and achieve stability for those groups.

He pointed out that cooperation with the relevant authorities is ongoing, extending his sincere thanks to the competent authorities who have made great efforts and this cooperation has had a significant impact in quickly containing the situation.
