SCI board approves new plans for 2024

SCI launches first phase of aid for Bangladesh flood victims

Sharjah24: The Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International, headed by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Chairman, held its regular meeting last Monday at the society’s main headquarters in Samnan in Sharjah.
The meeting discussed the general work of the SCI, locally and globally.

The board reviewed the financial report for 2023, and approved the 2024 general work plan. It also reviewed the human resources report and the results of the work teams’ performance indicators. The attendees were also briefed on the engineering report, discussed the latest developments regarding the mosques under construction, and looked at the stages of work on the new building for the SCI in Al Madam and several endowment investment building projects being constructed.

During the meeting, the attendees also discussed the developments in work in the association’s offices in Bangladesh and Niger, as well as identifying the indicators of its work and the extent of its completion of the tasks of studying the sites of the projects scheduled to be implemented, periodic follow-up of the projects under construction, as well as following up on the commitment of the implementing agencies to the regular maintenance work of the projects that were opened earlier.

Regarding the “Jood” Ramadan campaign file, the Council approved the operational plan for the campaign’s projects, which is scheduled to include 5 major projects and some new initiatives, which will be announced in a press conference the next few days.
