Sharjah 24: Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) organised, on Thursday, the “Beating Heart” campaign, which targets its members and beneficiaries, in addition to employees.

All branches and centres affiliated with the SSSD in the cities of Sharjah participated in the campaign.

Fatima Al Mazmi, Director of the Health Services Office, stated that the campaign aims to raise the quality of healthy life for beneficiaries and employees, to ensure their health fitness and that they are not exposed to diseases after retirement age. The examinations included comprehensive periodic examination, genomic examination, cardiovascular diseases, and early detection of breast cancer, osteoporosis and other chronic diseases that affect the elderly, such as geriatric diseases.

SSSD allocated a health platform for employees and beneficiaries, in all branches, departments and centres to conduct examinations.
