Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Youth Mini Football Championship competitions will conclude, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, organised by the Sharjah Youth, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, in a knockout system, under the supervision of the Mini Football Executive Committee.

The final stage, which will be held at the Wasit Youth Centre, will include four matches, where the home team will face its counterpart, the Kalba Youth Centre, in the first match, while Al Dhaid Youth Centre team will meet with the Khorfakkan Youth Centre in the second match, to determine the teams qualifying for the final match, which will reveal the identity of the champion.

The members gave an exceptional performance in which they demonstrated their high-level football skills, and the first round matches witnessed strong competition, as it resulted in the Kalba Youth Centre team winning by a clean 5-point victory over Al Madam Youth Centre team, while the Wasit Youth Centre team defeated the Mleiha Youth Centre team with a score of 4/1.

The teams of Al Dhaid Youth Centre and Khorfakkan Youth Centre also won 3-0 over the teams of Dibba Al Hisn and Al Thamid.

It is worth noting that the event, in which 96 young people from all Sharjah Youth Centres spread across the Emirate of Sharjah participate, reflects the keenness of the Sharjah Youth to promote sports activity and embrace its members in an attractive competitive environment, working to raise their level of physical fitness to reach the highest levels of sporting excellence.
