Sharjah 24: Members of institutions affiliated with Rubu’ Qarn Foundation showcased their literary talents in a distinctive cultural event titled "Literary Morning" gathering at the University of Khorfakkan.
This event was part of the "Rubu’ Qarn Season for Literature and Arts," organised by Sharjah Youth (SY), a subsidiary of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators.
Children, youth, and young adults gathered to engage in the arts and language programmes offered by Rubu’ Qarn’s institutions throughout the year. The goal is to inspire future generations to engage in reading and exploration, nurturing an educated generation capable of constructive dialogue, expressing opinions, and embracing diversity.
The Literary Morning comprised various segments, with the poetry and recitation section witnessing impressive performances from participants. They presented verses from creative poems, expressing their deep admiration for His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation. Participants demonstrated their skills in performance, vocal expression, and body language.
During the Literary Morning, participants discussed a youth novel titled "45 Hours Under the Snow" by author Sheikha Al Ziyara. The novel took them on an enjoyable literary adventure, conveying positive messages and human values. Participants shared their literary insights and personal impressions about the novel.
Parents in attendance praised the role of Rubu’ Qarn in developing their children's skills and enhancing their capabilities. This encouragement motivates them to continue their exceptional journey towards creativity across various domains.
