Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Youth (SY), affiliated with Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, announced the launch of “Rubu’ Qarn Season for Literature and Arts”, to be organised throughout the Emirate of Sharjah, from 24 to 29 December 2023, in an effort to enrich the cultural and artistic scene with the creativity of Rubu’ Qarn institutions affiliates from 6 to 31 years old.
“Rubu’ Qarn Season for Literature and Arts” aims to shed light on the talents and creativity of the Rubu’ Qarn affilates in different forms of literary and artistic expression, and on the importance of supporting and encouraging promising youth in the local and Emirati community, which reflects the mission of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation in achieving sustainable integration between its institutions, through designing and implementing programmes, activities and events that shape the future, in cooperation with local and international partners, to discover, develop and invest in the energies of children, adolescents and youth in an Emirati environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, to build conscious and influential generations.
Through Rubu’ Qarn Season for Literature and Arts”, Rubu’ Qarn Foundation provides many suitable spaces to display the outcomes of the literary and artistic programmes that were presented throughout the year. The season’s agenda includes displaying the results of the cinematic arts programmes, on December 24, at four o’clock on the Khorfakkan Corniche., in addition to enjoying the musical creations of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation music, in the Mughaidir suburb, which begins at six in the evening on the same day.
Fine Arts Exhibition will be held at Bait Al Naboodah in Sharjah on Monday, December 25, at five in the evening.
At eleven o'clock in the morning on Thursday, December 28, University of Khorfakkan will host the Literary Morning to display the productions of the Arts and Languages programmes; while Al Dhaid Fort will host a group of interesting theatrical performances from Rubu’ Qarn Foundation programmes for theatre and performing arts, which begins at five o'clock in the evening on the same day.
A photo exhibition will be held in Souq Sharq in the city of Khorfakkan, which includes the most prominent products of photography programmes and the most prominent artistic paintings by members of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation institutions, over the course of December 28 and 29.
The season is attended by a group of prominent figures in the field of literature and arts, to provide the opportunity for members to know the opinions of experts about their literary and artistic productions, with the aim of developing their talents and enhancing their creative abilities.
The Sharjah Youth invites all citizens and residents to attend this artistic and literary event to learn about the most prominent creations of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation members, in addition to following up on the institutions’ new programmes through their official pages on social networking websites.
