Application for the Award is from November to December 31st.
The Award comes to enhance the spirit of excellence and leadership among young people in the field of volunteer work, as it honours leadership figures influencing members of volunteer teams and motivate them to serve the community.
Applicant must be between 18 and 45 years old, with a positive impact on the team, and an effective leader during the year of participation. The required documents include letters of recommendation from the entity, an action plan, business results report, and evaluation results, in addition to a letter from the licensing authority stating that there are no violations or complaints against the young leader.
On this occasion, Fatima Musa Al Belushi, Executive Director of SAVW, confirms that the award comes within the framework of enhancing the leadership spirit and encouraging young people to assume leadership responsibilities in the field of volunteer work, especially since this category motivates young people to be good role models and leave a positive impact on people, in addition to the contribution of each leader in achieving a distinctive imprint and competitive value for his volunteer team.
Al Belushi pointed out that among the goals that SAVW has aspired to since its establishment by Amiri Decree No. 2 of 2001 is to work on forming future leaders for volunteer work through honouring, sponsoring, and encouraging the helpful and supportive groups, in addition to attracting younger generations to volunteer and giving.
