SAVW 21st Edition introduces “Best Volunteer Team" Award

The award's Executive Director, Fatima Musa Al Balushi, stated that establishing an award for volunteer teams coincides with the award's goal to stimulate and support volunteer work while honouring concrete social initiatives.

Fatima praised the work of several volunteer teams for their role in organising and administering volunteer activities, as well as serving as a social hub for adolescents to spend meaningful time in community and national service.
The Sharjah Volunteer Award welcomes all volunteer teams from throughout the nation to register on their website for the 21st edition.

The registration period is from November 1st to December 31st, 2023.Leadership, administrative organisation, planning, appropriate task allocation, recruitment, and retention of volunteers, as well as professionalism and skill in performance, will be among the criteria used to assess entries.

Al Balushi emphasised the award's dedication to stimulating and promoting volunteer work while recognising concrete societal accomplishments.

She also lauded the work of different volunteer teams, emphasising their significance in aiding various entities in organising and managing volunteer opportunities. Furthermore, these teams have turned into social incubators for youngsters, giving them a significant way to serve the community and the country.
