Engineer Hind Nasser, Director of the Strategic Planning and Quality Centre at SDPW, stated that the Department is organising the Strategic Partners Forum on the occasion of World Quality Day.
She added that the event comes as an affirmation of the Department’s annual commitment to improving and developing the services provided to the public, and the forum comes under the slogan “Understanding competitive capabilities.”
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, She confirmed that the forum saw a presentation of the achievements made by the different departments in the field of quality, with a focus on the stages of applying and implementing quality standards.
Engineer Hind Nasser added that the importance of exchanging experiences and information between departments was emphasised, which contributes to raising the level of services and products; and encourages the continuous development of institutional work within a competitive framework that achieves the highest quality standards.
The Director of the Centre for Strategic Planning and Quality added that the event included a section on benchmarking as a vital means of exchange of experiences with strategic partners; and she pointed out the importance of these practices as an essential part of the culture of quality, which is an important step towards achieving excellence and leadership in various sectors.
Engineer Hind Nasser concluded that such initiatives come to confirm Sharjah's commitment to continuing to strive for continuous improvement and innovation in the government work.
