SEWA and UoS host bachelor's registration and scholarship day

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), in partnership with the University of Sharjah (UoS), will hold an open day on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Muwaileh Suburb Council. The event is intended to allow high school graduates and their parents to learn about potential academic programs at UoS as well as scholarship opportunities provided by SEWA.

Guidance and academic planning

According to Amina Al Owais, Director of the Scholarship Program at SEWA, the open day will provide comprehensive information about the terms and conditions of SEWA scholarships, as well as guidance on academic planning and assistance in selecting suitable specialisations that align with students' future career goals. She emphasised SEWA's commitment to helping students obtain high-quality education and ensuring a sustainable future for Sharjah and the UAE.

Invitation for high school graduates

Al Owais encouraged this year's high school graduates and their parents to attend the open day and use the chances provided as a springboard for a fruitful professional career.

She further stated that the collaboration between SEWA and UoS represents a common commitment to investing in young national talent, preparing them for critical job market sectors, and delivering an education system that fits the needs of a fast-changing economy.
