Sharjah24: Dibba Al-Hisn Sports Club received a delegation from Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn to discuss ways of cooperation and establish a community partnership between the club and the department to achieve sustainable development, coordinate joint events, forums, and community programs, and develop volunteer work between the two parties.
The delegation included Abdullah Muhammad Subayan Al-Tunaiji, director of the department’s branch, and a number of employees. The delegation was received from Dibba Al-Hisn Club by Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Muhammad Abdullah Al-Tarban, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The importance of planning joint events and forums, including sporting, cultural, and recreational activities that can improve health and wellness in society, was emphasized in the meeting, as numerous potential opportunities to improve cooperation between the club and the Social Services Department were reviewed.
There was also a discussion about developing joint business between club and community members, with the aim of enhancing the spirit of volunteerism and community participation.
Dr. Mohammed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Dibba Al Hisn Club, indicated that the club is seriously seeking to be a strategic partner for all institutions in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, in response to the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
