Sharjah24: The Criminal and Investigation Department of the Sharjah Police Department was able to apprehend an Asian man on murder charges in less than 36 hours.
On September 30th, the operations centre was alerted about a body that had been found in one of the emirate's manufacturing districts.
As a result, police and other law enforcement personnel were dispatched to the area. After further investigation, it was determined that the victim had been fatally stabbed.
The authorities have begun their investigation to identify the victims and the perpetrators.
In a matter of hours, the culprit was tracked down and found to be in breach of UAE residence legislation. The suspect was caught in an ambush set up in conjunction with the Dubai Police.
He admitted that he's guilty, and the case has been submitted to the public prosecutor.
