During the meeting, they addressed how they might work together to enhance the number of shooting sports practitioners in the Emirate of Sharjah.
They also looked at the possibility of utilising the emirate's excellent sports infrastructure, particularly for shooting sports. Plans and programmes to assist in the expansion of shooting sports and increase their base in various clubs were considered.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hasher thanked the Sharjah Sports Council for the warm welcome and productive meeting, which will have a positive impact in the near future through the implementation of executive programmes in most of the emirate's clubs, particularly gun and air pistol shooting.
Al-Hazami hailed the Council and Federation's collaboration and complimented Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashr's efforts and endeavours to develop shooting sports. He emphasised that these efforts are bolstered by the remarkable talent and field experience of Sheikh Ahmed, a world champion who won the gold medal in Athens in 2004, the country's first Olympic medal.
