Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Club's Individual Sports Department hosted an awards ceremony for the "Future Champions of the UAE" programme in Judo and Karate at the Al Hazana site, where Sharjah Sports Council Chairman Issa Hilal Al Hazami, honoured the participants of the programme.
According to Al Hazami's remarks to “Sharjah 24”, the programme in which today's awardees participated in Karate and Judo is the first of its type to be held throughout the summer.
The prizes are given out annually to foundations that organise and carry out summer events that help children make the most of their time off from school.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, places a high emphasis on supporting and preparing the youth, the "generations of the future," and encouraging them to make the most of their spare time.
