Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) received, on Monday, at its headquarters a delegation from Emirates Schools Establishment, to discuss ways of coordination and cooperation between the two sides. The meeting tackled topics related to raising new generations; qualifying them physically and scientifically; arming them with experiences and expertise, through joint plans, programmes, and events; and investing in Sharjah sports infrastructure.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of SSC, in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Hashemi, Executive Director of the Student Life Quality Sector at Emirates Schools Establishment; Faisal Abdullah, Director of the Student Care and Protection Department; Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi, Projects Manager; Peter Moore, Senior Health and Fitness Specialist; Mohammed Ali Majid, Senior Executive Activities and Events at SSC; Nabil Mohammed Ashour, Director of the Support Services Department; Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan, Director of the Sports Affairs and Development Department; and a number of officials from both sides.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami praised Emirates Schools Establishment role in developing the education system and preparing future leaders. His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami welcomed cooperation in all areas of sports activities for students to highlight and refine their talents, stressing that this goal is within the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, to build human beings and prepare new generations capable of achieving ambitions and assuming responsibility in all sectors of work.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Al Hashemi extended his thanks to Sharjah Sports Council for the warm reception and positive discussion, the fruits of which would be seen in the phase ahead.
