Sharjah 24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, congratulated the chairman and members of the new Board of Directors of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club on the trust placed on them by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
This came during the reception of His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed bin Muadhd bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Camel Racing Club, to His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, in the presence of the members of the new Board of Directors at the club's headquarters.
The attendees extended their deepest thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness’s trust, blessings and unlimited support for sports and athletes.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami stressed that camel racing comes under the directives and direct follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi to develop this sport, which represents the legacy of the forefathers. He is also keen to continuously develop Al Dhaid Camel Racing Field to become one of the best fields in the region, with international specifications.
For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed bin Muadhd bin Huwaiden stressed during the meeting that the ideas and visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi have influenced this sport at the level of the state and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and have brought about a qualitative shift that has led to the great development it has achieved over the past years.
His Excellency praised the great and tangible role of the Sharjah Sports Council and the efforts of its Chairman, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, and his continuous follow-up. The new Board of Directors also expressed its thanks and appreciation to the council.
