Quentin Bezza crowned champion Sharjah Tour’s third stage

Sharjah 24: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi crowned Quentin Bezza as the champion of the third stage of the Sharjah International Cycling Tour’s 10th edition. The race, which spanned 11.16 km under the slogan "Science and Culture," started and finished at the American University in Sharjah’s University City.

Key attendees and additional races
The event saw the participation of Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi, along with other dignitaries. In addition to the main race, two additional races were held for people of determination and youth. Ayed Al Ahbabi won the wheelchair race, while Ahmed Al Badawi claimed victory in the special bicycles category, and Youssef Amiri took the youth race title.

Excellence jerseys and awards
Mario Aparicio of the Spanish Burgos team won the yellow jersey for the best time, while Dusan Rajovic from Solution Tech claimed the green jersey for speed. Rashid Mohammed Al Balushi took the red jersey for hill climbing. Marivot Durate secured the white jersey for the best youth performance, and Abdullah Jassim Al Ali won the UAE flag jersey for the best Emirati time.

Wheelchair and special bicycle category winners
In the wheelchair "H" category, Ayed Al Ahbabi took first place, while Ahmed Al Badawi claimed gold in the special bicycle "C" category. Special honors were given to Salama Al Khatri for his efforts in the people of determination categories.

Looking ahead to the fourth stage
The fourth stage of the tour, titled "Eastern Region," will begin tomorrow and cover 132.32 km from Al Hafiya Lake in Kalba to the Al Suhub Rest House in Khorfakkan.
