Ahmed Al Matroushi, Head of the Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council in Sharjah, presided over the meeting yesterday evening, which was also attended by various members of the council and residents of the suburb.
Al Matroushi, in his introductory remarks, thanked everyone involved in the launch of the Zayed Educational Complex in the area. He praised the benefit it provided to both students and their families and wished young men and women well in their future endeavours.
Subsequently, throughout the meeting, ideas and opinions were shared and discussed, all while centring on issues relevant to the area. Congestion was discussed, as was the need to begin looking into creating dual lanes for major highways to help with congestion, especially at rush hour.
