The program featured many engaging activities, including mindfulness sessions, health workshops like dental checkups, and useful talks on important topics such as first aid, internet safety, firefighting, and the arts. There were also fun workshops focused on Emirati crafts and recycling, along with activities for families showcasing their products in support of local projects. Attendees were excited to win various prizes and gifts, which encouraged community participation and created a lively atmosphere.
During the closing ceremony, Muhannad Abdullah Al Bustani, the Chairman of the Sharjah Parents Council, highlighted that “Your Summer with Dhahi” marks the beginning of more impactful programs in the future. He stressed the importance of teamwork and community collaboration in making a positive difference in the lives of children. He encouraged the continuation of these initiatives to help parents play a vital role, develop students’ skills, and foster a creative and aware generation for a brighter future.
As a token of appreciation, the Council recognized several organizations that significantly contributed to the camp’s success, including Sharjah Police, the Civil Defense Authority, the University of Sharjah, Al Ansar National School, the Department of Social Services Volunteers Section, and Life Al Nasma Medical Center.
The ceremony also honored a group of trainers and speakers who added great value to the camp’s activities, including trainer Noura Ahmed Al Zarouni, First Sergeant Alia Al Ghazal, First Warrant Officer Mohammed Fadel Al Abdouli, Dr Karima Mahmoud Al Mansi, Salwa Jumaa Faraj, Zahra Jassim Arab, Dr Abdullah Abu Hindi, and Mr. Ahmed Al Hammadi, along with the ambulance team.
