Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Dr. Kamal Ali Naqoush, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Burjeel Specialty Hospital, Sharjah, stated that the conference discussed many sport-related issues, most notably sports injuries and their consequences in terms of surgical intervention, and preventive work related to physical work and post-surgery physiotherapy.
He pointed out that during the conference, many parts of the operations that were conducted directly were presented with the aim of introducing specialists to a general and clear picture of the most important treatment and rehabilitation methods necessary for an injured athlete.
